A multi-talented multi-instrumentalist,
Kevin is a classically trained tubist with the Royal Hawaiian Band and has
played bass, tuba, trumpet, and trombone for many musical theatre shows at such
venues as Diamond Head Theatre, Manoa Valley Theatre and Castle Theatre as well
as in Waikiki. He played trumpet with Na
Hoku Award winning local group Three Plus (3 +) and has played and recorded
with local R&B groups Reign, CHANT, and Pacific Blu.
And when it comes to
jazz, listen to this cat get down on
the gut-bucket! Shades
of da Judge (Milt Hinton), Ron Carter, Paul Chambers, Eugene Wright, etc., but
uniquely “Kevin”.
