While there are higher-profile world-class jazz bassists,
I assure you there are none finer anywhere.
This cat has covered the globe, but prefers to live & work in Our
Fair City – where the climate is ideal, the fellow jazz artists abundant, and
the audience sophisticated & appreciative.
Ernie is as delightful to watch as he is to listen to. He enjoys making music so much he virtually glows
while performing. I have scads of photos
I’ve taken of him blowing his axe with that blissful, angelic aura he exudes,
but I held out for a copy of this pic of him on his
way to a gig in
